About Johnny
I graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music and I have been playing the guitar for over 15 years .Apart from my classes I have also read many music books and have accumulated all the important tools and exercises needed to self develop in the art of guitar playing.
Each lesson is structured specifically for each student to allow for maximum results from technical skills down to songwriting. I coach students to allow them to find their own identity and personal style on the guitar. Personal study guides will be given for each student. I am open to all students from those that wish to start playing to those more advanced that are stuck writting songs and are ready for the next step.
Lessons will be structured according to what the student wants and needs. Topics that can be covered are:
-Chord Progressions & Song Writting
-Scales & Modes
-Music Theory
-Ear Training
-Technical Exercises
I prefer teaching at my location as I use the white board a lot but I am willing to travel within reasonable distance.
Less than a minute walk from Pinner Station.

Johnny is an excellent Guitar player and tutor whom I would highly recommend for players of all levels.
He's a really nice guy and he knows his stuff - he backs up his playing with a great knowledge of music theory and how things all work together in music and on the fretboard.
He really helps you to learn what you want to learn and is a great guy to work with, pushing you along whilst not putting you under any pressure to do more than you can but helping you improve all the while.Johnny is a great guitar teacher and I definitely recommend him. He has a very structured and concise method of conveying music theory and practical exercises. I've spent hours on YouTube trying to find the right videos for improving my skills and wasn't able to progress the way I wanted, I only had significant improvement after having the lessons with Johnny. Thanks Johnny! Those lessons I will use forever.
