About Petruta Alisia
I am experienced teaching kids (from 5 years old) to adults. I have been doing it for 4 years now and lots of my students had great results in tournaments. I use different methodologies, a structured way of making people understand chess and develop their critical thinking as well as analysis potential. I will do my best to induce the same passion that I have for chess because its so interesting and it brings lots of opportunities for intellectual development!

This is a great opportunity to develop the mind and your soul!
My lessons are very interactive because I focus a lot on engaging people to think for themselves. Furthermore, we will touch upon tactics, strategies and positional play. We will intertwine opening games, middle game, endgames and puzzles. I am very flexible when working with my students.
I have been passioned about chess from an early age. I had a very successful path due to my constant training and hard work. I trained with grand masters and obtained national and international prizes during 12 years when I actively played.
My philosophy of teaching stands around a few pillars: speak clearly, kind so that the students enjoys the game and develops a constant curiosity to win and master chess!
I have experience with people of all ages and all levels.
I am looking forward hearing from you and help you in this journey!

Perfect! Petruta took the time to look at some of the games I had played on chess.com and pitched the lesson at the right level. She is organised and explains well.
Perfect! Petruta is a very good teacher. He is extremely patient, which is definitely required when you are dealing with children. My daughter so far had 4 lessons and I can already see improvements in her game. She is more confident and interested in playing chess. Would definitely recommend Petruta.

Perfect! Petruta has been coaching my 9 year old daughter at chess via online sessions. My daughter has loved the sessions and learnt a great deal. She is friendly, approachable, patient and accommodating. I would highly recommend her.
