After one lesson my chess opening technique did a total 180 and I ended up checkmating my friend this evening at our chess club. Victor made learning chess interesting and even though the lesson was virtual I still retained quite a bit and it changed my view of the chess board.

He made everything very easy to understand and even though things moved quickly I felt at ease the whole time. He takes wherever the person is at in their own game and utilizes his own knowledge to see and help with whatever weaknesses and strengths the person has. You can tell that chess is so embedded in his life that teaching is very natural for him. I have no doubt my chess game will dramatically improve as I continue to work with him
