About ABDUL
I know how important it is to feel comfortable with your tutor before committing to lessons, so I want to be upfront about who I am and how I work.
My name is Abdul, and I have been teaching Biology privately for several years now. I genuinely love this subject, and more than anything, I love that moment when a student suddenly gets it — when something that felt impossible finally clicks. That is what keeps me going.
I always come to lessons fully prepared. I do not show up and make things up as I go. Every session is planned around what you need — your syllabus, your weak points, your upcoming exams. I take notes on each student's progress so that nothing slips through the cracks.
I am patient. I have never once made a student feel embarrassed for not understanding something. Struggling with a topic does not mean you are not smart — it just means it has not been explained to you in the right way yet. That is my job.
I am also very flexible. If a particular way of explaining something is not working, I will try another approach until it does. No two students learn the same way, and I respect that.
Parents are always welcome to check in, ask questions, or sit in on a session. Transparency matters to me. I want families to feel confident that their child is in good hands.

My Teaching Methodology
I believe that Biology should never be memorized blindly — it should be understood. My approach combines:
Visual learning — diagrams, mind maps, and annotated illustrations to bring complex processes like cell division, genetics, and the nervous system to life
Concept-first teaching — I always ensure a student fully grasps the why before moving to the how
Exam technique training — I walk students through mark schemes, command words, and how to structure answers to maximize marks
Past paper practice — regular timed exercises to build confidence and exam readiness
Personalized pacing — every lesson is tailored to the individual student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning style
