About Melissa
I am an instructional assistant who previously worked as a substitute at a middle school working for a semester in a half teaching science to both 7th and 8th graders. I taught 6 classes each with 40 kids enrolled. My class grade average across all classes was a B and for students who were struggling with the material, I offered additional support.

My teaching methods incorporates a traditional as well as an innovative approach. I incorporate technology to my lessons to expand student technology literacy in combination with utilizing notes and worksheets. As a tutor I do a more personalized approach tailored to the student's needs.
