About Atmos
Experienced and Patient Music Tutor
I am a patient and hardworking professional tutor who has over 400+ hours of experience providing music lessons to people from many different backgrounds and ability levels, including those with visual impairment and unable to use certain fingers at all.
I believe that with the right teacher and dedication, anyone can learn to play a musical instrument and overcome the barriers holding them back.
I have been involved in music for 15+ years and I am currently working as a self-employed music tutor. Previously, I have worked as a band coach for a youth project, a session musician, a music producer, and an article writer for music publications, such as Music Gateway. In 2019, I graduated with a first-class honours degree in Music Industry Practice at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM), Guildford.
I have an excellent understanding of music theory and how to apply it to guitar, bass guitar, piano, and drums. I also have many years of experience playing these instruments and I know how to tailor lessons to help my students progress effectively. Each session will be tailored to each individual student, which will help them to achieve their goals.
During lessons, I will cover areas such as:
• Basic chords
• An introduction to scales
• How to improvise
• Basic songwriting
• How to play your favourite songs
Over the years, I have been involved in many projects and I have gained invaluable experience from them. Examples of these projects can be found below.
I have worked alongside several artists and bands. I have performed on many occasions with these acts and I have also been involved in the songwriting process for many of them. Examples of these acts are: Crutch For Hire (alternative rock), Deer in the Headlights (hard rock), Downtown Roundabout (Americana), Betsa (pop), and Aeron James (country).
I am available from 9am-8pm, Monday-Friday as standard. Please contact me to see if I have a suitable slot available for you.

I tailor each lesson to the goals and needs of each student, usually breaking down concepts into very small pieces so that they can be easily understood.
I offer 60 minute lessons as standard and recommend one 60 minute lesson per week for most students. More than one 60 minute lesson a week will accelerate your progress further.
In 2019, I graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music with a first-class honours degree in Music.
Lessons are available for all ages and backgrounds. I offer lessons for beginners up to advanced musicians for guitar, and for beginners up to intermediate musicians for piano and bass guitar.
