About Lisle

I am an 18-year-old student who achieved A*AA at A-level and 5 9s at GCSE. I also completed an EPQ on Theology and Music, which I received an A* in. I am currently completing a Musical Theatre CertHE course at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and am applying to study Theology and Religion at Oxbridge. I would like to tutor as I would like to help students achieve their academic goals while inspiring confidence and motivation when approaching school work. Due to my experience in teaching large groups and individuals, I understand how to communicate and teach young people. I hope you will consider me as a tutor!

About the lesson

As a tutor, I would typically do 1-hour tutor sessions, looking to analyse key problem areas for the student and building a plan for what specific areas to target during the sessions. Working through a mix of past-paper questions, my own written questions and explanation of content, my aim would be to deepen the student's understanding of the topic and their exam technique, as both are equally important in achieving a high mark. I have volunteered with teaching young people before, including individual singing lessons, and have completed over 25 hours of Music lessons to classes of 20 or more students. I am also planning on teaching English and Music in Ecuador and Bali in Summer 2027. As a tutor, my priorities would be highly specific, targeted sessions that built confidence in content and improved articulation of answers within written work.
