My method revolves around "Grooveology" - a fusion of technical precision and artistic expression. Here's how it works:
Foundation First: I emphasize mastering the foundational elements of hip-hop dance, ensuring students have a solid understanding of rhythm, body isolation, and basic moves.
Creative Exploration: Once the basics are mastered, I encourage students to explore their creativity by incorporating their own style and personality into choreography.
Musicality Mastery: Understanding the relationship between movement and music is key. I teach students to listen to the music, interpret its rhythm, and express themselves accordingly.
Freestyle Sessions: I incorporate freestyle sessions into every class, giving students the opportunity to improvise and develop their own unique dance vocabulary.
