About Floy

Teaching 431 students has given me a deep appreciation for the way people process information across many years of instruction. You deserve a space where rhythm guitar and electric technique are taught with patience and clarity.

I enjoy helping people master fingerpicking and complex chord transitions. My approach leans on scales and modes to help you understand the instrument. I drifted into this work via a university help desk and stayed because I value the process over the speed. Please join me for a session if you want to explore these topics.

About the lesson

The smell of old guitar strings greets you when you walk into the studio. We focus on your monthly recorded review of progress to ensure you actually finish what we start. I keep lessons steady. Mastery is slow.

We track 431 common mistakes to avoid. You will learn to rely on your own reasoning. Let me know when you are ready to start.
