About Jorge
Hello, I’m Jorge Zamorano! I am a FIDE Master (FM) with over 10 years of experience teaching chess to students of all ages and playing levels.
My biggest passion as a coach is helping my students progress, gain confidence, and reach their personal chess goals. My teaching methodology is patient, structured, and interactive. I don't believe in memorization without understanding—I teach my students how to think at the board like a master.

I assess students' strengths and weaknesses and provide relevant material to improve their game. Lessons cover a wide range of topics, including game analysis, developing an opening repertoire tailored to the student's playing style, key ideas and structures through model games, opponent-specific opening preparation, calculation, visualization, endgame theory, and any other subject that the student wishes to learn.
