About Munazzah
I am a microbiology researcher doing a PhD from the University of Melbourne and a strong background in Biology, Microbiology and Biomedical Science. Alongside my research, I have several years of experience teaching and supporting university students through practical classes, tutorials and assessments.
I also work with secondary-school students through STEM education and mentoring programs, which I really enjoy. I am passionate about making science feel approachable and helping students become more confident in subjects they may initially find challenging.
I aim to create a friendly and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.

My tutoring approach is supportive, interactive and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind scientific concepts rather than simply memorizing facts.
I break difficult topics into clear, manageable steps and use examples, diagrams and discussion to make Biology and Science easier to understand. Lessons can be adapted for concept clarification, coursework support, revision or exam preparation.
I have experience teaching university students in microbiology, biomedical science and bioinformatics, as well as working with secondary-school students through STEM education and mentoring programs.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are suitable for Years 7–12 and undergraduate students studying Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical Science and related subjects.
