About Jack

“Are you guys ready to rock?”

If so, you’ve all came to the right place, Cause I will show you the true meaning of music. Learn from Berklee graduate Jack Zhou to begin your journey. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never even touched a guitar before, or if you’re a virtuoso at the instrument, we’re here to have fun and explore all possible aspects of the music and the instrument.

I like to pass on the knowledge and the wisdom I have about the guitar or just music in general. I like to see my students making great progress as they go, and getting more passionate/enthusiastic about the instrument.

I have an Associate of Arts in Guitar Performance diploma from Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California. As well as an Advanced Certification in Composition from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.

About the lesson

I would start by jamming something with them (quick blues jam, minor II V I, some jazz standards, and etc.), that way, I'll be able to estimate where their skill level is, and then I'll go accordingly to whichever area they want to focus later on down the line.

I've worked with student under various age grounps (Ages 7 to 40)
