About Tamara
I'm a Dubai-based English tutor with a degree in Media and Communications from the American University in Beirut, and a genuine passion for helping people communicate with clarity, confidence, and impact. Whether you're a school student working on university-prep essays, a university student drowning in timely deadlines, a professional looking to sharpen your written or spoken communication, or a parent wanting to give your child a strong language foundation — I've got you covered.
Here's what I bring to every session:
Academic Writing & Proofreading — I've helped school and university students refine papers and theses to a publication-ready standard, catching errors others miss and elevating the quality of argumentation and flow.
CV & Professional Writing — I've transformed the CVs of 10+ professionals, turning their experience into compelling, well-crafted narratives that get noticed.
Arabic Speakers — I specialize in helping Arabic speakers bridge the gap between thinking in Arabic and expressing themselves fluently and naturally in English — a skill that makes a real difference in academic and professional settings.
Young Learners (Grades 1–4) — I make spelling and foundational English fun, structured, and confidence-building for early-stage readers and writers.
My sessions are tailored entirely to you — your goals, your pace, your challenges. I combine precision with encouragement, and I won't just correct your mistakes; I'll make sure you understand why and never make them again.
Available in-person across Dubai (up to 20km) and online worldwide - one-hour sessions are recommended for the best results.

With a sharp editorial eye and years of hands-on experience, I offer personalized English lessons across writing, reading, spelling, proofreading, and professional communication.
I've supported students in polishing academic papers and theses, worked with younger children on spelling and core language skills, and helped over ten professionals craft standout CVs.
I also specialize in supporting Arabic speakers in expressing their ideas fluently and naturally in English — going beyond translation to help them truly think in the language.
All ages and levels are welcome, I will cater lesson plans based on your level and learning preferences. Sessions available online or in-person in Dubai. One hour per session is recommended for focused, meaningful progress.

Perfect! Tamara is an excellent tutor. She’s very kind, patient and has a sharp eye for detail. Looking forward to continuing my lessons with her - highly recommended!
- Paulina is a great student, the support she could use in English is very unique and catered to formulating thoughts in English and ensuring she is well spoken in the workplace, and otherwise. It's been a pleasure working with her so far!Tamara's response :
Perfect! knows how to work with different age groups
excellent with kids
very friendly- My student is better at English than she thinks, she mainly requires support in brainstorming and ideating, and writing in a storytelling and authentic manner, grammar and punctuation could also briefly be improved.Tamara's response :
