About Joshua
Professional Keyboard Lessons – Learn with Confidence and Creativity! Looking for keyboard/piano lessons that are structured, supportive, and actually fun? You’re in the right place! I’m a dedicated keyboard/piano tutor who combines a solid foundation in classical training with a modern, flexible approach to teaching. Whether you're just starting out or looking to deepen your skills, I tailor each lesson to meet your personal goals at your pace, in your style. I am a young yet highly experienced keyboardist/pianist specializing in soul, R&B, jazz, and gospel styles with 9 years of experience playing at church as a keyboardist and bassist (mostly keys), with having the basics of classical technique when I was 5 years old and enhancing it with learning a lot of different styles from many great players who taught me and inspired me to be a musician back then. I have been playing secularly as a live band musician as well either at events such as wedding parties, corporate events, birthday parties, or at restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. I have won lots of band competitions and performed in big annual events such as International Jazz Day and many more.

My Teaching Style: Think structured, but not stiff. I will really focus on building the "feel" of playing the music. I don't want my students just to be able to play some tunes, but I want to enhance the skill so that people can "feel" the music when listening to my students play, I combine technique with modern methods to make sure you’re not only learning how to play—but also why it works.
A Typical Lesson Includes: A warm-up (scales or exercises to get your fingers moving) Technique practice (building speed and accuracy) Repertoire work (pieces tailored to your level and taste) A touch of theory or ear training.
I’m not just here to teach you how to play notes—I’m here to help you fall in love with the music itself. I focus on creativity, musical expression, and helping you build confidence in your own sound. Plus, I’m super adaptable: want to play pop, classical, jazz, or video game music? Let’s do it.
