About Shubhi
Hello! I’m a Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor with over 3 years of teaching experience, passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies, breath, and inner calm — one mindful movement at a time. I specialize in trauma-informed yoga, yoga for stress relief, and diabetes/lifestyle management, offering a deeply compassionate space where students of all ages and backgrounds feel safe, seen, and supported. Whether you're completely new to yoga or returning after a break, my approach is gentle, personalized, and rooted in both traditional wisdom and modern understanding. Each session is designed not just to stretch your body, but to nourish your nervous system and build long-term resilience. As a yoga teacher, I believe that yoga is not just a workout — it's a journey inward. My classes are rooted in mindfulness, breath awareness, and body respect, helping students reconnect with themselves beyond the mat.
Teaching Techniques and Methods
I use a trauma-informed and holistic approach to guide each student according to their energy, body type, and emotional space. My teaching integrates:
Gentle yet powerful flows
Breathwork (pranayama) to regulate the nervous system
Grounding movements from Hatha and Restorative yoga
Strength and stamina building through Vinyasa and Power yoga (where needed)
Occasional elements of meditative practices
