About Gaurav
Gaurav Vohra working as Regional Manager, with a leading Digital Healthcare Platform.
Since his school days, he was active in Sports and had a passion for fitness. He had special interest in
Athletics. Born in Holy city of Haridwar he used to practice yoga on banks of river Ganges as a daily
routine. Gurukul Kangri University one of the pioneer Universities of Yoga and Vedanta also
contributed towards his learning during his Post graduation.
With a corporate experience of more than 15 years and working with India’s top telecom and retail
brands, during his stay with these organizations he was instrumental in introducing Yoga and
Mindfulness to employees. He has been involved in teaching Yoga to Prison Inmates, Police
Personnel, Resident Welfare Associations, etc bringing awareness Health and Lifestyle.
Always up for challenge Gaurav looks for ways to help students come alive, respecting their body,
honouring their breath, and enjoying their practice. He aims to lead participants towards a deeper
level of physical fitness and a stronger connection to their Body, Mind and Breath.
As per him Yoga has something for everyone both on the mat and off the mat. He believes that
Discipline in life can make a big difference in quality of one’s life.
Gaurav has a vast experience in taking Corporate Yoga Programmes in global companies like PWC,
Amdocs, Novartis, Wargaming to name a few and helping the employees managing stress and
bringing a sense of team cohesion. He also loves sharing Therapeutic aspects of yoga helping people
with lifestyle disorders. Apart from being a corporate trainer, he is Kids and Laughter Yoga Trainer
also and taking sessions in leading Universities in Cyprus.
Gaurav has served as a Yoga Ambassador and Teacher of Indian Culture to Republic of Cyprus and
Hellenic Republic of Greece appointed by Indian Council of Cultural relations, Ministry of External
Affairs, Govt. of India. Gaurav has taken sessions for Ambassadors, Diplomats, United Nations and
has talked about Ayurveda, Yoga philosophy at various business events including sessions for world
economic leaders at Delphi Economic Forum at Delphi, Greece in 2019 and Indian-Cyprus Business
events.
Gaurav has written several articles on various aspects of Yoga and its benefits for public and have
featured in leading Newspapers of Cyprus.
Gaurav has led big events on International Day of Yoga celebrations 2(concealed information)0 in the island
countries. International Day of Yoga (IDY) was declared unanimously by the United Nations General
Assembly (UNGA) in 2015 and since then it has been celebrated across the globe every year on 21st
June.
He holds Post graduation in Management and Yoga. holcertification from Quality council
of India and certification of Yoga Teacher and Evaluator from Yoga certification Board (YCB), Ministry
