About Tonia
"Do you often feel that traditional classroom settings ignore the unique ways your mind processes language? After teaching English in Italy for 12 years and moving to Australia, I discovered that acknowledging neurodivergent thinking styles is essential for language acquisition. My 13 years of experience have taught me that standard methods do not apply to everyone. I hold a CELTA and a BA in English from the University of Melbourne.
These qualifications provide the foundation for the specialized IELTS Academic, PTE, and business English support I provide today. Many adult learners and working professionals appreciate my direct and supportive style. I have assisted countless students in finding clarity in their communication.
It is a privilege to walk alongside you as you navigate these complex linguistic hurdles. I am here to ensure you feel seen and supported throughout our sessions."

"A diagnostic level test serves as the starting point for all my tutoring sessions. This assessment allows us to pinpoint exactly where your current strengths lie and where we can grow. My CELTA training informs the precise structure I use to teach writing skills, academic writing, and complex reading comprehension.
IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE candidates benefit from my methodical approach to exam speaking practice and listening comprehension. We also explore the nuances of everyday conversation, idioms, and phrasal verbs. Clarity is my priority. Complex grammatical structures become manageable when broken down into logical steps.
My goal is to ensure you feel confident during your exams. We will move at your pace. Everything remains focused on your individual progress."
