About Tiana
Calculation and visualisation are the core pillars of my coaching style. I have successfully mentored 155 students through complex positional understanding and pawn structures.
My background includes 11 years of dedicated instruction for competitive and scholastic players. I emphasise the importance of blunder checking and accurate recording and notation.
Many tournament players struggle with time management during high stakes matches. I teach them how to maintain a competitive mindset under pressure.
My approach combines opening principles with deep middlegame planning to create a complete player. I find it very rewarding to watch my students implement these strategies in their own games. Teaching chess is an enjoyable challenge that keeps my own mind sharp.

Given my background in mathematics from the University of Oxford, I approach board analysis with a structured perspective that simplifies advanced endgame technique. My 11 years of experience allow me to identify weak spots in your play almost instantly.
