About Louise
After 10 years of teaching in secondary schools as a Specialist Mentor, Cover Supervisor, and Learning Support Manager, I am now enhancing my qualifications (English as a Second Language Teacher, Ruth Miskin Reading Recovery Leader and L7 Specialist Assessor for learning needs) with a Learning Support degree and a master's in dyslexia tuition and diagnostics. Whilst doing this I am offering private tuition in the following areas: reading recovery, handwriting, literacy catch-up, and English as a Second Language. I have experience in Further Education and also primary school intervention so I can adapt my teaching and resources to suit any age and ability. Lessons are offered online, 1:1 or in small groups. Travel is restricted to within 5 miles of WF5. I am passionate about 'education for all', friendly, flexible, and well organised.
