About Kherina
I’ve played the piano since I was 8 years old. The highest piano grade that I’ve achieved is Unisa Piano Grade 7 and Unisa Music theory Grade 5. I’ve participated in numerous piano competitions and eisteddfods. Today I run a YouTube Channel and am the leader of a band of my own creation. I grew up with a classical music background but I am well equip to tackle any genre.
Music is more than just notes. It’s about phrasing, understanding and emotion. My most valuable skill is the ability to teach you how to make music that moves people and speaks to the soul.

I focus on developing beginner to intermediary piano students.
My lessons are level specific. For beginner pianists I focus on teaching the basics:
-- How to read and write music
-- Understanding rhythm
-- Basic technique
For Intermediary pianists I focus more on technique and performance:
-- Complex rhythms
-- Piano composition
-- Advanced piano techniques
-- Performance etiquette
My main goal with every lesson is to equip you with the skills and knowledge to share your music with others. Whether online, for talent competitions or with your family. Lessons will be in English and will consist of technical exercises, music theory and learning songs. Each lesson will be tailored to your specific goals and skill level.
