About Alexandra
Accumulated over 80 rated tournament appearances across Australia and internationally provide the foundation for my coaching style. Holding an International Master title gives me a unique perspective on the game that I share with students daily. Working with adult improvers and competitive students allows me to apply a structured framework to their development.
I emphasize calculation and visualization alongside deep positional understanding during our time together. Developing a solid opening repertoire and building strong defensive technique are core parts of my instruction. Pattern recognition often separates casual players from club competitors. Seeing students apply these concepts in their own games remains the most rewarding part of my work.
