About Troy
With 10 years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about helping high school and college students discover their voices through singing. I have had the privilege of teaching over 300 students, guiding them to unlock their potential and express themselves through music. My approach is centered on building confidence and fostering a love for singing.
One of my significant milestones was preparing a group of students for a local talent show, where many received awards for their performances. I believe that every student has a unique story to tell, and I strive to create a supportive environment where they can shine. I am excited to continue this journey, inspiring more students to embrace their passion for singing!

My teaching methodology for singing focuses on creating a positive and supportive learning environment. I use **motivation** to inspire students, encouraging them to explore their unique voices and express themselves through music. **Empathy** plays a key role in my approach; I understand that each student has different challenges and strengths, so I adapt my lessons to meet their needs.
**Flexibility** is essential, as I adjust my teaching style based on individual learning paces and preferences. I incorporate **problem-solving** techniques to help students overcome obstacles, whether it’s improving their vocal range or mastering a new song. Finally, I emphasize **communication**, fostering open dialogue so students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and questions. Along with singing, I can also teach related subjects, ensuring a well-rounded musical education. My goal is to help each student develop confidence and passion for singing!
