For over 15 years, I have been supporting a diverse range of people to recognise their skills, strengths and qualities, helping them to move towards employment through developing their self-belief and confidence.
I've worked with school leavers and recent graduates through to parents returning to work after a break or professionals seeking a complete career change.

Looking for employment, whether your first job or your hundredth, can be a draining, daunting task especially if you're not really sure what you're meant to be 'selling' to a prospective employer.
Do you have the right skills or enough experience?
Maybe you don't but you could have 'transferable skills' or maybe you do, but possibly lack the vision to see how you can convince someone else that you're the right person for the job : )
A qualified trainer and assessor, I value the importance of understanding individual learning styles and needs, tailoring sessions to suit each client to ensure the best outcome.
I have a '5A Step' process:
Acknowledge - understanding the starting point of your journey, the circumstances and challenges;
Accept - accepting that where you are in your journey may not be where you want to be, but you are now being proactive in making a change;
Action - taking progressive, affirmative steps towards setting and meeting a target;
Achieve - accomplishing and / or exceeding your target/s;
Award (Reward) - celebrating your success. Reflection serves as a powerful motivation!
I combine my 5A Step process with the SMART and GROW models of goal setting (SMART goals = specific, measurable, achievable, realistic & timebound. GROW = goal, reality (currently), options or obstacles & will.
My sessions are friendly, informal, fun but productive!
Although you may be booking these sessions with me with regards to your job search or career development, typically the people that I work with discover so much about themselves, that it becomes a bit of a life changing experience across many more areas of their lives : )
