About Ruhani
I’ve spent the past 11 years helping students turn maths challenges into moments of clarity and confidence. With a BSc in Mathematics for Data Science, I bring both analytical precision and creativity into my lessons. My focus is on middle school algebra — linear equations, polynomial expressions, and basic functions. I know how overwhelming these topics can seem at first. That’s why I use fun puzzles, visuals, and real-life examples to make abstract ideas feel concrete. My sessions are interactive and student-centred, never just lectures. I believe that every learner can succeed once they understand why something works. Over the years, I’ve supported students with different learning styles and confidence levels. Maths anxiety is common, but it doesn’t have to define anyone’s experience. Step by step, I guide students toward understanding and independence. I celebrate small victories and build on them until maths feels natural. My goal is simple — to make algebra approachable, enjoyable, and deeply rewarding.

My teaching approach focuses on connecting mathematical concepts to real-world financial understanding. I believe students learn best when they can see how maths directly affects their daily decisions. I teach core maths along with topics like financial mathematics, simple and compound interest, investment analysis, and budgeting applications. Each lesson includes examples that show how maths shapes smart financial thinking. I use visual models, short coding integrations, and data-based reasoning to strengthen problem-solving skills. Students don’t just solve equations — they understand how numbers behave in real life. For coders and Olympiad aspirants, I include logical puzzles and optimisation problems to sharpen analytical thinking. My approach builds both confidence and curiosity. I encourage open discussion and exploration instead of memorisation. Every topic connects back to a meaningful context, such as saving, spending, or investing wisely. Mistakes are part of the process — they lead to stronger understanding. Over time, students become not only better at maths but also smarter in managing money. My goal is to help learners feel capable, confident, and financially aware.
