About Max
I'm Max and I live in Port Dickson, Malaysia. I'm from Virginia in the United States of America. I've studied in America and Malaysia. I hold an MA in Education as well as a BA in Religious Studies and a BA in International Relations. My whole career has been in Education and I specialize in English language learning. I've traveled to 20+ countries as a hobby. I own a consulting firm that assists UK and international students to get accepted into universities in Western countries. To keep up with the needs of students, I take on personal tutoring and coaching jobs. Having a hands-on approach allows me to curate the perfect method of approach for success.
My teaching experience at international schools, TOEFL, and universities has provided me with the ability to teach many different things involving English subjects. I am a Celta-qualified English instructor which means i can teach English to ESL students. I have taught A-Level, IELTS, and IGCSE along with many other tests.
The way I approach education is relaxed yet focused. I have conversations about many topics and I like to invite students to think outside the box.

Lessons for young learners and IELTS tutoring include worksheets, pronunciation correction, speaking exercises, writing exercises, and listening exercises. I will provide visual aids, topics and review chapters. I will also provide notes and examine homework assignments to allow for deeper learning of materials. I look for students' weaknesses to build and improve their skills. 1 hour daily. My 10+ years teaching the English Language to students of all age groups will help cultivate a perfect private lesson to keep the students engaged.
Lessons for adult learners include Business English, IELTS, Academic, and General English. I provide materials as well as planned lessons and quizzes to evaluate growth.
Coaching for University students includes discussions on assignments that allow for a deeper understanding of the material. Write a high-quality essay like a native speaker. With clear communication and goal setting we can achieve this. I assist in examining and reviewing papers for error correction. Assistance gathering source material and structuring of papers. Assistance writing term papers and Dissertations. As a Master's Degree holder in Education, I know how important writing a good paper is and how to get high marks. I have done it and I can help you do it too. 1 to 2 hours every meeting depending on your needs.
