About Mia
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BA in Chemistry, passionate about helping students explore the fascinating world of polymer chemistry and materials synthesis. I guide learners through polymerisation mechanisms, material properties, and the practical applications of plastics, rubbers, and composites. My teaching emphasises the connection between chemical structure and macroscopic material behaviour, helping students understand why materials behave the way they do.
I work closely with students to analyse how molecular arrangements influence mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties.
