About Kara
You probably think that fluency in French is about memorising grammar rules, but I actually discovered the language through the raw chaos of live theatre. Working with 406 students over 13 years has shown me that true proficiency hides inside dialogue practice and real world role play.
I combine business French with interview preparation to ensure you can communicate effectively in high pressure environments. I focus on exam preparation for DELF or DALF by stripping away the fluff and concentrating on what examiners actually want to hear. I admit that I find traditional language labs incredibly dull because they ignore the messy reality of speaking. My approach uses my background as a musician to emphasise the rhythm and cadence of native French speech. Having taught 406 students, I rely on my Guildhall training to keep our sessions disciplined and highly focused. We work through business scenarios and conversational fluency by simulating actual encounters you might face in your career.
