I know Benjamin for 3 years now and he is a patient teacher with a real great pedagogy. He heped me to learn khmer very well and i will never forget that. So if you really want a great prof from basic to advance in khmer who really knows Cambodian culture. Ben is the guy you need.

Benjamin est un professeur passionné, dynamique doté d’un grand sens de l’humour! Patient et à l’écoute de nos besoins Benjamin sait s’adapter à ses élèves. Il sait nous mettre en confiance tout en nous aidant à sortir de notre zone de confort. Il ne fait pas qu’enseigner la langue khmer mais nous imprègne aussi de la culture cambodgienne ce qui rends son enseignement vraiment intéressant! Il est soucieux de la prononciation des mots et de la formulation des phrases afin de bien se faire comprendre, un atout quand on veut communiquer dans une langue difficile à apprendre! Quand on me complimente sur ma façon de parler la langue khmer je suis fière de dire que mon super prof c’est Benjamin.

He tailors every lesson to his students, and he gives very clear explanations whenever we have questions. His experience makes for great dept of understanding, so we learn the reasons behind certain Khmer words, and we understand how to link words and expressions rather quickly. Within the first few classes with Ben you’ll be able to get by!

I have had Benjamin teach me and my family online and face to face. He is a lively and enthusiastic teacher and has way about him that makes you use your own brain to help you remember them.

Fluent in French, English & Cambodian (and probably some more I don't know of) my family and I have always enjoyed learning with Ben. If my younger children
(under 12) were not up to the task on particular day, Ben would discern this and still do his best to still teach using alternate methods.

I clearly remember a class in Cambodia where he bought along a local to the class as well and helped us to have clear conversations with her.

Ben is a fun, funny, friendly and effective teacher.
