About Mia
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a focus on piano. Over the past 14 years, I’ve taught students of all ages, from school children to adults. My teaching blends strong academic training with practical experience across jazz, pop, and classical genres. I believe music should be both enjoyable and rewarding. I tailor lessons to fit each student’s goals and interests. Whether you want to prepare for exams, improve technique, or simply enjoy playing your favorite songs, I’m here to guide you. I focus on building a solid foundation while encouraging creativity and expression. My approach is patient and supportive, helping students gain confidence step by step. History of music is part of my lessons, giving students a deeper appreciation of different styles and composers. I also encourage creativity by guiding students in composition and improvisation. Whether you love jazz or pop styles, I tailor lessons to help you excel in your favorite genre. I support all levels—from complete beginners to advanced players—helping you improve steadily. My goal is to develop your passion and skills in piano playing. I provide clear explanations and use real music examples to make learning easier. Regular practice and feedback are key parts of my method. I believe every student can grow with patience and the right guidance. Together, we work on technique, expression, and musicality. I encourage students to explore different styles to become well-rounded musicians. This balanced approach helps in exams, performances, and personal growth.
