About Jace
I am a passionate piano teacher with over 14 years of experience helping students of all ages and levels grow in their musical journey. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Piano Performance and have trained extensively in both solo and ensemble playing. My greatest joy as a tutor comes from guiding students to connect emotionally with the music they play. I believe that when students feel what they play, their technique and expression improve naturally. My lessons focus on building a strong foundation in music theory, technique, and ear training. I emphasize posture, hand control, and tone quality from the very beginning. At the same time, I encourage creativity, interpretation, and personal expression. Each student is unique, so I adapt my approach to suit their goals, learning pace, and musical preferences. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, learning a favorite song, or exploring classical pieces, I’ll support you with patience and care. I use engaging tools and modern methods to make lessons fun, productive, and meaningful. I also incorporate listening exercises and performance techniques to help students grow as confident musicians. Watching my students fall in love with music and gain confidence is the most rewarding part of my work. Music is more than notes—it’s a language of feeling, and I’m here to help you speak it fluently.

My piano teaching approach is student-centered, adaptive, and goal-oriented. I guide learners from beginner to professional levels with a focus on both strong technique and musical expression. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether they aim to perform classical pieces or prepare for music exams. I give special attention to building a solid foundation in finger strength, posture, and hand coordination. Sight reading is introduced early and reinforced regularly through engaging exercises and progressive sheet music. I also encourage improvisation and ear training to build musical confidence and creativity. To help students stay on track, I use personalized progress plans and offer regular feedback and motivation. Technology plays an important role in my teaching. I integrate virtual piano apps, online sheet music tools, and metronome apps to improve timing, accuracy, and practice efficiency. Students also learn how to use digital resources to enhance their skills independently. I provide strong support to those preparing for music exams or aiming for classical performance excellence. My sessions are structured, encouraging, and filled with passion. Whether you are discovering the piano for the first time or aiming to perform at your best, I’ll help you grow with confidence and joy.
