About Ed
I have over 20 years cooking and chef experience working in events, cruise ships, private yachts, Michelin star restaurants. I have 5 years teaching experience in culinary arts and professional cookery. Within the qualification there are many theory elements which involve report writing and correction of English and grammar. I have a very hands on approach and like to teach through demonstration and feed back. I am an excellent communicator and like to help overseas students and less academic individuals. I have a calm but firm personality and like to help learners who want to better themselves. I like to set tasks in lessons and encourage and set up peer and group Learning. I like to consider diversity within my lesson plans.
I have assessed learners on a one to one basis and built up portfolios to complete their qualification.
