My name is Ruth Tan, I am 17 years old and undergoing Year 12 at Plenty Valley Christian College. I look forward to improving the English skills of my students and prepare them to achieve satisfaction academically in the present and future.

I aim to use the first lesson to familiarize myself with a student's preferred learning style and allow a student to get to know me. I will get a feel of what areas they struggle in, and we need to focus on, and what a student doesn't need intensive studies on, what they consider to be a 'strong point'. My lessons are aimed at younger years, so grades prep to year 6, and generally should run for an hour. I am a student in year 12, so all lessons will take place inside a library or online, and after 4:30pm on weekdays.
