I’m your dedicated Chinese tutor, and I’m thrilled to embark on this language journey with you. My passion for languages runs deep—from my undergraduate to graduate studies, I wholeheartedly pursued language learning as my core major, ultimately earning a Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. This academic foundation, paired with 10 years of teaching experience in schools across the US, UK, and Canada, has equipped me with a profound understanding of how to guide international learners to master Chinese effectively. What fuels my teaching even more is my own identity as a lifelong language learner. Right now, I’m immersing myself in Japanese and Spanish, and this ongoing learning journey lets me empathize fully with the challenges and joys you’ll encounter while studying Chinese. I know firsthand how rewarding it is to break through language barriers and connect with new cultures. Currently, I’m based in Dali—a beautiful, culturally rich city in southwest China—where I blend two fulfilling careers: teaching Chinese to global learners, and running an online English education institute. Beyond language education, I’m also an active Web3 practitioner. In recent years, China’s global influence has grown steadily, and Chinese voices and contributions in the cryptocurrency space have become increasingly prominent—the viral internet meme “Binance Life” is a perfect example of how Chinese culture and crypto trends intersect in fascinating ways.
