About Ella
I am an eighteen year old student who has previously played in guitar ensembles (groups), as well as assisting peers in on-stage performances. I am completely self-taught and have been playing since the age of 12. I interchange between acoustic and electric.

I am an advocate for individualised learning that accommodates to the individual students wishes. This would mean lessons are strongly student led, and would revolve predominantly around which areas of playing that they are most interested in, whether that be a genre, song, scale, strumming style. Necessary fundamentals and foundations would be taught initially, however. From personal experience I believe that this is the most effective way of retaining enthusiasm and engagement of an instrument.

Ella is amazing! She’s so friendly and a great tutor. My guitar has improved so quickly; she’s great at explaining everything so it feels easy, and has taught me so much is only a couple of lessons. Would definitely recommend :)
Very knowledgeable and a genuinely kind and understanding attitude. A brilliant tutor because she walked me through each lesson making sure I got the best out of it that I could!
