About Haya
Hello! I’m Haya — a bubbly and easy-going person who loves music, reading, hanging out with friends, and trying new foods. I also love cooking - although it doesn't always go the way I'd like it to! I didn’t always find maths easy, which I think makes me relatable and genuine when helping others. I chipped away at it, developed habits that really worked for me, and now I’m confident in the subject. I love Biology and always have! It's one of those subjects that's always just made sense to me, and along the way, I've picked up some pretty nifty ways of staying on top of what seems like a huge amount of content. I’m excited to help you build that same confidence and find ways to make learning enjoyable and effective!

As someone who’s just recently been through school myself, I understand firsthand what it’s like to be a student receiving lessons. This helps me know what teaching methods truly work and how to explain concepts clearly and patiently. I’m empathetic and patient, and I focus not only on the subject material but also on helping students develop good study and revision habits that make learning manageable and less stressful outside of lessons. Typically, I find lessons of 40–60 minutes work best to keep focus sharp and progress steady. I tutor students of all ages up to GCSE level and tailor each session to their needs, making sure the pace and style suit them personally.
