About Heather
I have been married for 29 years and have 2 children - Brooke, 27 and Zach, 26. I love sports, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins. My family and I love to visit Disney World and Myrtle Beach. My hobbies are reading, playing games on my iPhone and iPad, golfing, coaching and playing softball, watching movies, series, etc., and spending time with family.

As a learning support teacher, I work with a variety of 7th and 8th grade learning styles. My adaptability and flexibility sets my teaching/learning style apart from others. I get to know my students both inside and outside of the classroom to build a relationship to enhance learning. Skills and concepts will be broken down to ensure knowledge. Guided and independent practice are essential in acquiring 7th and 8th grade math skills and concepts. Entrance tickets are also important to determine what you know and where I need to start. A variety of techniques will be used to evaluate progress.
