About Sanjana
I am a Year 11 student at Abbotsleigh who previously completed my IGCSEs in Singapore, achieving A*s in both English Language and Literature. English has always been a subject I genuinely enjoy, and I aim to share the techniques and strategies that helped me excel. With firsthand experience across two education systems, I bring a relatable and supportive approach to teaching. My goal is to help students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and see real improvements in their results.

As a Year 11 student with a strong interest in English, my aim is to help students in Years 6–10 build confidence, improve their core skills, and develop a genuine appreciation for reading and writing. I focus on making English clear, achievable, and engaging for students at different ability levels.
I use a combination of step-by-step explanations, model answers, guided practice, and interactive discussions. For younger students in Years 6–7, I intend to include structured reading activities, vocabulary building, and short writing tasks to strengthen foundational skills. For Years 8–10, I aim to focus more on analytical writing, essay structure, comprehension strategies, and preparing students for high-school style assessments. I will always adapt my approach to each student’s pace and learning style.
