My approach to tutoring is collaborative, structured, and clarity-focused. I work with students and writers to refine ideas, strengthen structure, and develop a confident, authentic voice rather than imposing a rigid formula. Sessions typically involve close reading, targeted feedback, and practical strategies for revision, argument development, and flow. I adapt my methods to the individual—some people need conceptual guidance, others benefit most from line-by-line editing and concrete examples.
Lesson Structure & Length
Lessons are usually 50–60 minutes and conducted online. Sessions may include live editing, discussion of drafts, or guided planning, depending on the student’s needs. I also offer support with ongoing projects over multiple sessions.
Qualifications & Experience
I have an advanced academic background in the humanities, with extensive experience working with complex texts, arguments, and creative writing. My experience includes academic writing, critical theory, and creative work, allowing me to support both formal university assignments and more exploratory, creative projects.
