I focus on high-level concepts like pacing, characterization, tone, etc. when it comes to fiction writing. When the lesson is more about informational writing, I heavily focus on keeping the prose clean, tight, and to the point. I tend to move along quickly, but I don't mind when people ask for clarification, in fact I prefer it because I am not a mind reader so I can't tell if you've understood what I said or not unless you tell me!
