About Lisa
I am an actor, writer, stand up comedian, and improviser in Chicago, and I have been teaching workshops since 2006 (twelve years). I have taught at many universities including: Oberlin College, Kansas State, Tufts University, Boston University, and many more. I have studied at The Second City, iO, The Annoyance, Gary Austin Workshops, and I have performed and written in both LA and Chicago (and one show that aired in China!)

My improv workshops are based on Truth in Comedy and Improvise. They also incorporate elements of Viola Spolin, Commedia dell'arte, movement techniques, meditation and awareness techniques, and traditional theatre training. These workshops are useful for actors, comedians, performers, teens auditioning for college programs, business leaders, improv groups, performance ensembles, and anyone looking to build confidence and awareness.
