I met Ermioni years ago when we first started studying together at our university in Athens. I still remember how impressed I was when I first talked to her. I am Vicky Papadopoulou and I was Ermioni's teacher mentor in a central Athenian middle school. Ermioni used to come to our school for two months during her teacher practicum on her last year of studies at the University of Athens (B.A.in English Language and Literature).
Like all mentees, she attended lessons, prepared lesson plans, helped with the correction of exams and essays, participated in discussions of pedagogical nature,expressed her views, displayed her creativity in the preparation of school projects and generally showed her professional but also passionate approach towards teaching of English as a foreign language.

I've known Ermioni since she was still at university, in her final year when I was her instructor at a workshop on CLIL. She was also a student-teacher at my school as part of her TEFL Practicum, when she was an inspiration for the students and everybody loved her, not only for her excellent work as a teacher but also for her unique, loveable personality, her love for teaching and innovative ideas. Since then, we've had several opportunities to work together, exchange ideas and share material. As a postgraduate student, she did her research at my school on CLIL, with great success, helping me at the same time gain insight into the CLIL situation at my school and offering me valuable feedback. She's a person of integrity and a charismatic teacher. As a teacher of English, I would recommend her without the slightest doubt.

Back in middle school, Ermioni used to teach us the English language when she was still a student at the Greek university. She was so nice and sweet with my classmates and me and always available to help us with everything we wanted! She had special ways of teaching us. I still remember the poems she used to bring to class and the way we analysed them. She used to find different ways of explaining something to us the best she could and she's literally one of the best teachers I had!
