About Michael
I have been giving dance lessons for over 17 years, teaching thousands of students all around the world of all ages and backgrounds. I primarily teach most styles of partner dancing including Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Salsa and Country dances. Also, I may teach the occasional line dance or cool new trending dance. Accomplished choreographer, competitive dancer and coach in West Coast Swing and Ballroom styles.

I enjoy helping students with a personalized, fun and unique approach to learning a new dance style. These days I primarily teach people between the ages of 14-85 and of all skill levels. I have a unique background in sports, activities, and movement training which allows me to adapt my teaching style to the student for the best results. I enjoy finding ways to relate to what the student already knows and the new movement or pattern. Over the many years I find a tailored but flexible approach is the not only the most educational but the most fun.
