About Madeline
My approach to education is heavily influenced by my experiences as a working professional singer. As a recent graduate of Indiana University, one of America's premier universities for vocal performance, I find great joy in learning and developing my craft through my continued practice and performances. I have sung principal roles with Charlottesville Opera, Cedar Rapids Opera, Ohio Light Opera, and Indiana University Opera Theater to name a few. My singing encompasses operatic repertoire and musical theater repertoire with equal respect to both. My expertise extends beyond singing technique to dramatic interpretation and movement in performance. I'm a firm believer that learning never stops and pass on my own technical breakthroughs to my students in a calm and fun environment that encourages fearlessness and experimentation.

I have worked with Madeline on many occasions and she is a consummate professional. She is calm under pressure and a very detail oriented singer. I would wholeheartedly recommend her as vocal professor for her pedagogical knowledge, graspable explanation of concepts, and true passion and dedication to the arts.
Madeline is a skilled communicator who is able to help me understand how to be a much better singer. She is patient and I am grateful that I have been able to study with her.
Madeline is simply the best! She is knowledgeable, patient, and flexible. She makes it a fun and comfortable environment to learn and grow as an artist.
Madeline and I have known each other for a number of years, and she possess an extensive knowledge of singing, acting, and performing. Besides being an engaging singer and actress herself, she is able to impart that wisdom to others in a supportive and kind manner that leaves her students feeling empowered and excited to practice and perform. I can’t recommend her enough!
