About Danny

Hi there, my name's Dan, a London-based musician and songwriter. I've been playing guitar since I was 11 and singing since I was 16, performing in bands at school and university. I also started writing and recording my own music during my time at university. Having worked as a gigging musician for the past 4 years alongside my day job, I'm now changing careers to make music my full-time job. I have a deep passion for music, with a love and knowledge for a wide range of genres. With my guitar and vocals, I mainly focus on rock, pop, funk and soul. I want to share the joy of playing music, and would love to help others start or continue their music journeys.

English

I believe the best way to learn an instrument is by playing music you know, love and connect with. Before we get stuck in with learning the instrument, I like to chat with students about the music they enjoy. I'll then tailor our lessons to make sure they are as engaging as possible, with the goal of building you up to learning the songs you want to play or sing. You'll learn all the fundamentals, how to put them together, and how the music you love uses them. That way, learning will feel a little less like learning and a little more like play.
