About Tina

With over 11 years of experience as a musician and composer, I am deeply committed to sharing my love for music with others. My extensive background allows me to teach both the fundamentals of guitar playing and the intricacies of music theory with a unique perspective. I strive to create a learning environment where beginners feel encouraged and supported, providing them with a strong foundation while fostering their creative growth. My lessons are designed to be both comprehensive and engaging, ensuring that students not only acquire essential skills but also develop their personal musical style.

My teaching philosophy centers on the idea that mastering an instrument involves both technical proficiency and artistic exploration. I focus on building a solid technical base while also encouraging students to explore their creativity. This balanced approach helps learners gain confidence and find joy in their musical journey. By tailoring lessons to individual needs and interests, I aim to make each session both productive and inspiring, helping students to connect with music on a deeper level.

Outside the classroom, my passion for music extends into various aspects of my life. I love exploring different musical genres, composing original works, and performing at local events. I also enjoy hiking and immersing myself in nature, which often provides inspiration for my compositions. Additionally, photography is a cherished hobby of mine, as capturing the beauty of landscapes allows me to express my creativity in a different way. These activities not only enrich my personal life but also enhance my teaching, bringing fresh perspectives and inspiration to my students.

With over 11 years of experience as a musician and composer, I offer a comprehensive approach to teaching guitar and music theory. My lessons are designed to introduce beginners to the fundamental concepts of playing guitar while simultaneously exploring the underlying principles of music theory. This dual focus ensures that students not only learn how to play their instrument but also understand the theoretical aspects that underpin their practice. Each lesson is tailored to the individual needs and pace of the student, ensuring a personalized learning experience that caters to their specific goals and interests.

My teaching philosophy emphasizes a balanced approach, integrating technical skills with creative exploration. In my lessons, students are encouraged to develop their technique while also experimenting with their own musical ideas. This helps to build a solid foundation in guitar playing while fostering a sense of creativity and self-expression. I aim to make each session engaging and motivating, providing a supportive environment where students can build confidence and enjoy their musical journey.

Beyond the technical aspects, my lessons also focus on making learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience. I incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including practical exercises, interactive activities, and real-world applications of music theory. This approach helps students to see the relevance of what they are learning and keeps them motivated to progress. My goal is to inspire a lifelong love of music and to equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to continue growing as musicians.
