About Lucian
I’m a guitar tutor with 7 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Guitar Studies. Alongside tutoring, I regularly perform and compose music, which keeps my passion for the guitar alive and growing. I believe music is a creative skill that lasts a lifetime, and I’m dedicated to sharing that with my students. I work with beginners and advanced players alike, tailoring lessons to each person’s goals and interests. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your technique, I focus on building strong fundamentals while encouraging personal expression. My lessons combine technical skills with creative exploration, so learning feels both challenging and fun. I’m passionate about helping students find their own voice on the guitar. My teaching approach combines strong foundational skills with creative exploration, tailored to each student’s goals. I focus on building solid technique, clear music theory understanding, and practical skills like chord progressions and scales. Whether a student aims to master classical pieces or rock riffs, I create personalized lessons that fit their style and pace.
I incorporate modern tech tools such as backing tracks, loopers, and apps for tuning and rhythm practice. These tools help students stay motivated and track their progress. I encourage learning through songs that excite them, making practice both fun and meaningful. Theory lessons are integrated naturally to explain why music works the way it does.
For those drawn to classical guitar, we emphasize precision, fingerstyle technique, and musical expression. For players interested in rock and modern styles, improvisation and tone shaping are key parts of the lessons. I also support creative learning through songwriting and improvisation exercises.
My goal is to build confidence and musicality in every student. I ensure lessons are clear, structured, and encouraging. This method helps students not just play notes but truly understand and enjoy music.
