About Bria
I am a passionate piano tutor with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano. Music has always been my way of expressing creativity, and I love sharing that passion through teaching. I specialize in helping students not only play the piano but truly understand and feel the music they create. My lessons are fun, engaging, and carefully tailored to suit each learner’s goals and background. I teach school and college students, adults, and professionals who wish to refine their skills or start their musical journey. Every session is designed to build both technical skill and artistic confidence. I focus strongly on chord theory, performance techniques, sight-reading, and improvisation to help students develop a complete musical foundation. My background in music composition and songwriting allows me to inspire students to create their own music and explore their unique style. Each lesson combines theory with practice, ensuring that students understand the music they play, not just the notes. Technology plays an important role in my teaching. I use virtual piano apps, online tools, and metronomes to track progress and improve timing, accuracy, and consistency. These tools help students see their growth clearly and stay motivated. I believe every learner deserves guidance that matches their goals, whether it’s mastering exam pieces or performing with emotion and confidence.
