About Corin
I’m a piano teacher with over 7 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in Piano Pedagogy. My greatest joy comes from helping students connect emotionally with the music they play. I believe that when technique meets feeling, something truly powerful happens. In my lessons, we build strong foundations in pedal technique, dynamic control, and nuanced expression. I take care to explain not just how to play, but why each detail matters. Whether it’s a subtle change in volume or a gentle use of rubato, I guide students to make each piece their own. My teaching style is structured but warm. I tailor lessons to suit the goals and learning pace of each individual. For beginners and advanced students alike, I focus on tone production, phrasing, and bringing stories to life through music. We explore a wide range of repertoire to build both skill and emotional range. I also encourage reflection and mindful listening. Music is more than notes—it’s communication. My piano teaching style is warm, interactive, and focused on real musical goals. I help students become confident accompanists—whether they're supporting singers, instrumentalists, or full ensembles.
