About Katie
Former office professional turned Yogini, I have spent most of the last 2 years in India, training and teaching across different ages, topics and styles under the umbrella of Yoga. Most recently completed 900 hours of advanced teacher training at The Yoga Institute, Mumbai and prior to that 200 hrs TTC in Goa, India in March 2017. During this time I have taught many different physical yoga classes varying between Vinyasa, Hatha and also Pranayama (breath control and expansion) and Meditation of many different styles (depending on my clientele)

I usually include Pranayama and Meditation as well as Asana (physical practice) in my group classes. When teaching one to one the style and methods will be tailored to the individual based on what I have observed and discussed to be their needs. The overall goal of Yoga is to create and maintain a calm, steady and peaceful mind, so i always keep this at the centre of everything I share and do.

One rarely meets a person as focussed and dedicated to one's art, craft and beliefs as Katie. She is the one who has had the most profound influence on me in terms of the spiritual and philosophical aspects of yoga. In her gentle yet firm manner, Katie has further helped me realise my own potential and stretch myself beyond what I thought were my limits, each time giving me new insights, and introducing me to new and different asanas and attitudes. I was diagnosed with scoliosis about a year ago and with this being the main focus in each session, my postural results are incredible. Her classes have given me a deeper understanding of this journey. I wish her peace of mind and joy in her own journey of self discovery and recommend her as a teacher to anyone.
