About Marie
I am an experienced Spanish tutor with over 11 years of teaching experience, mainly working with college students. I enjoy helping students transform Spanish from a difficult subject into a practical and useful skill. My teaching style is creative, supportive, and goal-oriented. I focus on building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary while encouraging students to speak Spanish confidently. I explain lessons in simple English and keep sessions interactive and engaging. I use innovative learning methods such as storytelling, role-play activities, real-life dialogues, videos, and interactive exercises. These methods make lessons interesting and help students remember concepts easily. Cultural topics are also included to give students a deeper understanding of the language. My teaching approach for Spanish is creative, clear, and supportive. I believe learning a language should be interesting and useful in real life. My aim is to help students speak, understand, read, and write Spanish with confidence.
I use creative learning methods such as real-life conversations, role plays, storytelling, and visual examples. These activities help students connect words with meaning and remember concepts easily. I encourage students to practice speaking from the first lesson without fear of mistakes.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I explain grammar rules in a simple and logical way. I help students understand sentence structure and how ideas are expressed in Spanish. This helps them think clearly and form sentences independently.
Accountability is an important part of my teaching. I set clear learning goals, give regular practice, and review progress carefully. Students receive helpful feedback to improve step by step. Along with Spanish, I also teach related subjects such as pronunciation training, vocabulary building, listening skills, and communication basics.
